Things have been a little full lately and I have woefully neglected this website. I wanted to do a little experiment here and see how many folks are looking at this and determine if people just look at the homepage or if they're actually looking through things. So... If you find this post please leave some kind of comment, whether that a "hi" or a smiley face or taking a minute to reply with what pages you looked at and how you found my site. If you could take a minute and play along I would appreciate it!
Still not sure how much I'll be using the website but I think it could be cool to do some fun things here like a contest or giveaway. We'll see how it plays out! Thanks for looking!

It's been a little while since I put anything up here. Between trying to squeeze in last minute camping, visitors, a road trip back to Ohio, and doing a few custom orders I've been a bit neglectful. I have a pocket fixed blade almost done and it'll be up here soon! I've also been working on a smaller everyday kind of knife that I'll make a few of when I get time.
Here's what I have in the works. It has a two inch blade and is about four and a half inches overall. The handle scales are burlap micarta from Old Town Cuttlery and some orange liners. The blade is 1095 with a hand rub for a clean and even look. I'll be making a simple pocket sheath soon and should have it all up here in the next week or two. Let me know if you're interested and I can set it aside for you. Let me know if you have any questions! I had meant to get some knives done this summer to put up for sale, but here it is the second week of September and I'm just now getting started. But started they are! I have two pocket fixed blades sitting on the bench as I type this post and I have plans for one or two more. As of right now I'm planning on making one sheepsfoot blade with black micarta and a kydex sheath and one drop point with burlap micarta and a leather sheath. These will be $55 and $80 respectively, but if you want a different handle/sheath let me know and I'll accomodate. I'll post them up on the available page when they're done, so keep an eye out!
The summer is already half over and my intentions od getting several more knives up here haven't come to fruition. Between work and a couple family visits knibes have taken a back seat. I'm wrapping up several knives for some folks, however, and once those are finished I'll be making a couple smaller pocket fixed blades to sell. I'm thinking one warnclif style one like the one on my gallery page and one drop point. They'll be fairly simple and be around $50. If these sound like something you'd be interested in let me know, otherwise I'll put then up on the Availavle page.
Visits from family are always fun and often mean some time spent in tye mountains! This past week provided a chance for an overnight camping trip in the high Uintas, and camping is alway a good opportunity to use knives. I took a bushcraft knife and a slip joint, and even though they didnt see any super hard use it was still good to see how they did. Looking forward to more time with them in the mountains soon! Well, here we go! This is my first time creating a website and I think I can rule out web designer as a career option if engineering and knife making fall through, ha. I'll be tweaking and editing as I go to try to make the site look better and work more smoothly as time goes on but this is definitely a start!
I have one knife on the Available page and I'll add new ones as I make them. I'll also try to be good about posting on here and on Instagram with what I have in the works as well as adding knives I've made to the Gallery. We'll see where this goes and how it works, and take things as they come! |
